Ingrid Bennett

The business philosophy which Ingrid Bennett has observed for over three decades is a personal, service intensive approach that focuses on the individual needs of each client and customer. It has been her mission to provide the highest degree of professional service in all aspects of her business and to build upon the fundamentals of knowledge, integrity, communication, trust and competence.

Ingrid began her real estate career at the Wilmington, Vermont office of Berkley & Veller Greenwood Country in 1978. In 1985 she became the managing broker, a position she held until 1992 when she moved to Annapolis, Maryland. In Maryland she continued the practice of real estate until 1995 when she moved back to Vermont, lived in Brattleboro and affiliated with the Brattleboro office of Berkley & Veller Greenwood Country. She now lives in Saxtons River, Vermont and is licensed in both Vermont and New Hampshire.

Designations: Ingrid holds the Certified Residential Broker/Manager designation (CRB).

Outside Interests: When she is not working, Ingrid enjoys living the Vermont lifestyle which includes growing her own produce as well as supporting the local farms, and hiking the local trails. She loves spending time with her grown children. Reading is a favorite pastime and recently she has been engrossed in some excellent biographies.  On Sunday evenings in January and February you’ll find Ingrid watching the latest episode of her favorite Downton Abbey. Traveling around New England and visiting family abroad provides new and wonderful experiences.  For six years Ingrid served on the Community Council of Vermont Public Television and she currently volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem in Vermont.

The challenge in Ingrid's business has been to adjust her business model to the rapidly changing methods of communication, while providing buyers and sellers with the excellent service and personal attention that has been the bedrock of her business for so many years.
